Warcraft Lore 6: Grom and Thrall Kill Mannoroth and free The Horde
Grom Hellscream and his clan had rallied with the up-and-coming chieftain Thrall in the battles to free themselves from the humans and in the journey to Kalimdor. Mannoroth, the demon Pit Lord and master of the Fel Orcs, wanted to curse Grom and his clan again with his demon blood to make them Fel Orc savages once more under his command. However, Thrall was able to get to Grom in time to purge the demon blood once again and to cleanse him, but Mannoroth would not give up his orc servants so easily. Mannoroth, had started to work his fell magic again on him and his clan. This time, Grom would not fall again under the curse, no matter the cost…

@9bue9 it is i think and yes the orcs did come from outland but the humans didnt like them and started a war so all the ppl who say the horde is evil or the bad guys are retards the alliance started the war

@chrisomen112 Mannoroth is not “the king” of the pitlords, his a pitlord commander. secondly, the orcs came from outland, because they were shattered due to the burning legion, they came refugee and some shouted to stay where they belong, but eventually became corrupted, they split up in their diffrent war, and some became know as the burning skulls, the shattered hands
the orcs who werent corrupted however, came to azeroth. but were disturbed by the humans quickly. -> war

Then the Orcs came to Kalimdor becouse unlike the humans they listened to the prophet. But the Burning legion still came there and Mannoroth made them drink his blood again. Grom drank the blood too, which made Thrall save him with the help of Jaina Proundmore. After they did that, they needed to free Kalimdor and the only way to do that was to kill Mannoroth. So like fools only Thrall and Grom attacked Mannoroth. Leading to Grom dying. .

@kelvinROCKSyoSOCKS OK I may mess it up a little but here it goes:The demon they fought is a Pit Lord named Mannoroth. He is a Champion of the Burning Legion and a lieutenants of Kin’Jaeden, He is also the King of the Pit Lords.
The orc originaly came form Outland, they came to Azaroth (Kalimdor, etc. ) through a portal. Mannoroth made the main Orc chieftans drink his blood, making them demonic.
Some time and backstories later the orcs freed themselves.

Woah, 2 man raid? They’re frikin crazy. But Hellscream hacked his damage so he could kill him and thats why he got banned right after killing Mannoroth.

@13tman I completely agree. Varian does nothing everytime The Horde and The Alliance happen to be in the same room except bitch and moan and say that we are savages or that we want to kill everyone. Man Jaina is the only leader in the Alliance that has shown she would work for peace. I say make Lady Jaina Proudmoore the leader of the Alliance and throw Varian Wrynn into a cellar somewhere

The victory here was extremely important- Not only did it end the Orc’s enslavement to the Legion, but it also destroyed Archimonde’s second-in-command, and a very capable Demon commander. Mannoroth’s death in many ways, was a major blow to the legion.
1/3 of the Legion’s total command structure was wiped out by the end of the Third War, and with all the other victories in WoW, I imagine that its at its weakest ebb.

Grom Hellscream: Epic Hero
Garrosh Hellscream: A bloodthirsty barbarian brute.
I feel sorry for Grom, he is a true hero of the Horde, like Thrall and Doomhammer. Mannoroth was the demon who made ALL orcs in Draenor (except Doomhammer, Durotan and the Frostwolf Clan) drink demon blood and become fierce brutes, he saved all orcs. Although he killed Cenarius, i understand ppl see him as a hero. Garrosh, on the other side, is another story. He never got demon-taint, he is just a bloodthirsty scum.
